Keelsync ("we") builds apps for Shopify stores. This policy explains what data we process when you install our apps. Data controller: Keelsync — contact: destek@keelsync.app.

Data we process

• Store information: your myshopify domain, store name, contact email, billing address and phone — read from Shopify to pre-fill the app's form.
• Information you enter: legal business name, address, tax details, return address and similar seller details that appear in the generated documents.
• Change log: the previous and new version of every policy/page text the app writes to your store (for rollback).
• Session data: the access token Shopify issues to the app.

Our apps do not process or store customer personal data (buyer names, addresses, orders).

Purpose and legal basis

Data is processed solely to provide the app's functionality (generate documents, write them to your store, allow rollback) and to answer support requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); Turkish KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the app is installed. On uninstall, session data is deleted immediately; when Shopify sends the shop/redact webhook, all data for that store is permanently deleted within 48 hours. You can request deletion at any time at destek@keelsync.app.

Sharing and transfers

We never sell data. Data is hosted on Hetzner Online GmbH servers in Germany. Data is exchanged with Shopify Inc. through the Shopify API only to the extent required for the app to function.

Security

All connections use TLS; access tokens are stored in an encrypted database; server access is key-based.

Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you may access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data. Requests are answered within 30 days.

Cookies

The app runs inside the Shopify admin and uses only strictly necessary session cookies. This website does not use cookies.
